Son of Gerry Hutch being extradited to Ireland

A son of Gerry `The Monk´ Hutch is to be extradited back to Ireland to face criminal charges.

A son of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch is to be extradited back to Ireland to face criminal charges.

It is understood Jason Hutch is being flown on an Irish Government plane from Lanzarote on Thursday.

He was arrested on the Spanish island earlier this year on foot of a warrant.

He is expected to be handed over to the Irish police service An Garda Síochána at Baldonnel Aerodrome.

He will then appear in court in Dublin later this evening.

His father Gerry Hutch has been described in court by a judge as the patriarchal figurehead of the Hutch criminal organisation, which was involved in a deadly gangland feud with the Kinahan gang in Ireland.
